07/2010 New Product - Stir-Plate 3000

We just started manufacturing our latest stir plate. This stir plate is larger and stronger than our original stir plate and can easily handle up to a 6 liter flask. This one took us a while to design because we wanted to make sure we had no issues with flasks as small as 250 ml, making our new model our most flexible stir plate to date.

Replacement Stir Plate Power Supplies

Our stir plates can run on any power supply rated from 9 VDC to 12 VDC providing the power connector is the right size and the polarity is correct. Early models were labeled with 12 VDC and we followed up with a label change in May 2010 that marks the stir plates with 9 - 12 VDC.

If you decide to replace your stir plate power supply yourself, make sure you use only a VDC rated power supply with a 2.1 mm power plug. VAC rated power supplies will damage your stir plate. Also the power supply must be polarized so that the center of the power plug is +.
